Directions From Dublin
Get onto the M50 (motorway)and head southbound on the N7. Follow the signposts on the N7 for Limerick. Take the N18 from Limerick to Ennis. Take the N85 from Ennis to Ennistymon via Inagh. At Ennistymon you can
A: Turn left and stay on the N85 travelling via Lahinch and the Cliffs of Moher (lovely coastal drive)
or
B: Take the shorter route via Lisdoonvarna.
A: Turn left and stay on the N85 travelling to Lahinch. At Lahinch turn right onto the R478 and stay on this road passing through Liscannor and then the Cliffs of Moher. Approximately 5 km after the Cliffs of Moher, you will arrive at a cross roads and a fuel station. Turn left down the hill towards the sea and the village of Doolin. Fisherstreet will be on your left, and Hotel Doolin will be on your right.
B: Drive straight through Ennistymon town towards Lisdoonvarna on the N67. At the 2nd crossroads after the village of Kilshanny,turn left onto the R478. Travel on for about 5 km where you will reach a crossroads and a fuel station. Turn right down the hill towards the sea. This will bring you into Doolin village, Fisherstreet will be on your left, and Hotel Doolin will be on your right.
Directions From Kerry
Take the car ferry from Tarbert (in Kerry) to Killimer (in Clare). Once disembarked from the ferry, take the N67 to Kilrush, Miltown Malbay and Lahinch. Drive through Lahinch and turn left onto the R478 and stay on this road which will take you through Liscannor and then past the Cliffs of Moher. About 5 km after the Cliffs, you will arrive at a cross roads and a fuel station. Turn left down the hill towards the sea.
This will bring you into Doolin village, Fisherstreet will be on your left, and Hotel Doolin will be on your right.
Directions From Limerick
In Limerick follow the signs for Shannon airport or Ennis. Take the N18 from Limerick to Ennis.
Take the N85 from Ennis to Ennistymon via Inagh.
At Ennistymon your can A: Turn left and stay on the N85 travelling via Lahinch and the Cliffs of Moher (lovely coastal drive)
or
B: Take the shorter route via Lisdoonvarna.
A: Turn left and stay on the N85 travelling to Lahinch. At Lahinch turn right onto the R478 and stay on this road which will take you through Liscannor and past the Cliffs of Moher. B: Drive straight through Ennistymon towards Lisdoonvarna on the N67. At the 2nd crossroads after the village of Kilshanny, turn left onto the R478. This road will bring you to Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher. About 5km further on, you will arrive at another cross roads and a fuel station. Turn right down the hill towards the sea. This will bring you into Doolin village, Fisherstreet will be on your left, and Hotel Doolin will be on your right.
Directions From Galway
Take the N18 out of Galway, and turn right in the village of Kilcolgan on to the N67. Stay on the N67 as far as Ballyvaughan. Once you get to Ballyvaughan, you can take
A: The coast road to Doolin on your right via Fanore,
or
B: Stay on the N67 and travel via the Corkscrew Hill and through Lisdoonvarna.
A: Follow the coast road from Ballyvaughan, eventually turning right towards Doolin, after 16km approx. Stay on this road and you will eventually pass a church which takes you into the village of Doolin.
B: Stay on the N67 until you get to Lisdoonvarna town. Drive right through the town turning right at the bottom of the hill. At the next junction, drive straight through, taking the R478. This road will bring you to Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher. After about 5 km, you will aririve at a cross roads and a fuel station.
Turn right down the hill towards the sea.
This will bring you into Doolin village, Fisher Street will be on your left, and Hotel Doolin will be on your right.
Directions From Shannon Airport
Take the N18 from Shannon to Ennis.
Take the N85 from Ennis to Ennistymon via Inagh
At Ennistymon your can
A: Turn left and stay on the N85 travelling via Lahinch and the Cliffs of Moher
or
